Facebook Apps Offline Access Post to Pages

After a lot of searching on web (spending many hours) on many sites and then trying again and again, I am now able to do automatic posting on Facebook Pages (I am admin of)  in offline mode. I would like to share the steps which I followed, please go through following:

Step 1: Create a New Facebook Apps. To create a new Facebook Apps click here
or If you want to continue using Existing Apps then this apps will have a Page already created (access this page by going to Account – Privacy Settings, then under Apps and websites – Edit your settings | then Clicking on Application name | then again clicking on Application Name)

or if you want to post updates on some other page which you manage then give rights to that page. To give rights to this page go to your Application Page and then Click on Add to My Pages and then choose this page.

Step 2:

For this you need to grant this application some rights like – status_update,publish_stream,manage_pages,offline_access. For these permissions run index.php and give permissions.

You also need to inlcude facebook.php and edit fbmain.php. fbmain.php  file has appurl, appid, app secretid etc. Fill it with your application details.

Step 3: Now, we will get Page Id and Token Id. Run accounts.php page and you will see Page Ids and Access Tokens for pages you manage. Copy Page Id and Access Token for one particular page.

Write these values in update.php against $page_id and $token_id

Step 4: Now run update.php in your browser. If it says Updated Successfully then check your Page there will be a new post there.

index.php

echo("<script> top.location.href=’" . $auth_url . "'</script>");
}
?>
